Job Description:
MCA Penrith is looking for a Qualified Technician to support the service & repair of the Polaris, Indian and other motorcycles.
- Completing the build & assembly of new machines, as well as pre-delivery inspections
- Performing routine service inspections and repairs
- Completing required warranty repairs in full & complete detail
- Supporting the sales & admin teams by fielding customer service, maintenance & repair questions
- Communicating effectively with the Workshop Manager and clients providing realistic timeframes and keeping them informed regarding work in progress
- Developing and maintaining in-depth technical product knowledge of Polaris vehicles & motorcycles
- May be asked to assist with other product range service needs during busy periods
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate must possess the following attributes:
- Either a motorcycle or small engine requirement
- Sound knowledge and experience working on engine repairs, servicing, electrical systems and fault finding and a willingness to continue to learn
- Experience working with motorcycles
- Great communication and customer service skills and is comfortable speaking directly with customers regarding their concerns and service needs
- Reliable, punctual and works to a high standard, holding themselves and their team members accountable
- A drive and passion for success and growth
- The ability to be dynamic and flexible to support new and ongoing business needs
