Job Responsibilities
Nowra Polaris is looking for a Qualified SxS Technician to support the service and repair of the Polaris SxS vehicle range. This person will be responsible for:
• Completing the build and assembly of new machines as well as pre-delivery inspections
• Performing routine service inspections and repairs
• Completing required warranty repairs in full and complete detail
• Supporting the sales and admin teams by fielding customer service, maintenance and/or repair questions
• Communicating effectively with the Workshop Manager and clients providing realistic timeframes and keeping them informed regarding work in progress
• Developing and maintaining an in-depth technical product knowledge of Polaris SxS vehicles
• May be asked to assist with other product range service needs during busy periods
Required Skills
The ideal candidate must possess the following attributes:
• Either a motorcycle or small engine qualification
• Sound knowledge and experience working on SxS/ATV engine repairs, servicing, electrical systems and fault finding and a willingness to continue to learn
• Experience working with other agriculture equipment a plus
• Great communication and customer-service skills and is comfortable to speak directly with customers regarding their concerns and service needs
• Reliable, punctual and works to a high standard, holding themselves and their team members accountable
• A drive and passion for success and growth
• The ability to be dynamic and flexible to support new and on-going business needs
